Ellenore Wins So You Think You Can Dance... I Wish

This is the blog of one of the biggest So You Think You Can Dance Fans out there. I love it. Season One: Nick Lazzarini was amazing. Runner Up Melody was pretty good too (mention of Kamilah) Season 2: Masterpiece- Donyelle was BRILLIANT! The choreography was kick butt- the show was taking off- Travis Wall was great at everything and my fave Ashlee was on there- best popper ever- Season 3- one of my faves where things started to become memorable- won emmy's, dancers became celebs- Had Lacey (my fave- Dancing still is amazing) Had Hok, The best B Girl Sara, Neil (HOTTIE), adorable Dominic, and Jamie and Anya were pretty good. Let's not forget the adorable PASHA! Great dancer. Alas, excellent sabra beat out cocky, but good, Danny. Season 4- so so really for me: I like Matt- amazing legs and style- I liked Twitch, Joshua, and Chelsea (she grew on me) and so did Courtney- Also this was the season Sonyah started choreographing. THE GARDEN WAS THE ISH! And of course my fave 3- One was Katee Shean, who did amazing with every dance she did- Hometown Glory anyone? No Air? And then of course Kherington Payne was so sweet and great from her audition onto everything- Dreaming with a Broken Heart, fave- and then.... MARK! Brilliant Quirky, LOVED it. Completely opened the door for odd dancing and Sonyah was perfect to choreograph him twice. Loved his audtions, hair, and great personality.
Then season 5 hit- A GREAT season! First let's mention the good people;

Jonathan- BEAUTIFUL body, amazing smile! ok dancer- but BEAUTIFUL!
Karla- wanted to see soooo much more of her- but alas damn judges.
Caitlin- great body of work
Phillip- Freakin cute- and wow- who can move like that!
Randi- So adorable and I loved the ASS dance
Janette- Hell yeah Mamasita
Melissa and Ade made some great routines- 24 Hours was EPIC and The Breast Cancer Dance had me bawling!
Jason was amazing- he pulled everything off- and that Travis routine was intense and historical
Brandon and Evan were good
Kayla was Superb! She rocked every dance and the girl had legs for DAYS!
Then we have the amazing!!!!!!!!!!!: Jeanine who won the show and put together a great show- she grew soooo much and completely deserved the title. I was rootin for her more than anyone.
Then we have Baby's Daddy- Kupono. Amazing from day one and always the quirkiest of them all! He was also from the same area Mark was in- sam weird style and everything. He rocked my world!
The Addiction Dance- Gravity- Mia Michaels, Kayle and Kupono- FOrever engraved in my heart- made me cry- made we watch it over and over again! PERFECT
Then we have this season. There weren't any standout performances that really made me jump to get them. Sadly-
So Karen the latina was great- but only until she got eliminated did the show pick up- she was great though
Victor- though fine as hell- didn't impress me as much, great thighs though!
I was rooting for Nathan from Season 5- but he really was only good at Solos. But he put together soem impressive pieces- just as Mollee his partner did
Ryan- great partner and AMAZING body- damn- chiseled in every which way- perfect- but lacking in anything other than his own style. His wife Ashliegh did ok too
Then there was Jakob- who should've won if anything, but had amazing dancing skills- but only so so personality. They really milked those leaps of his- Tore My Heart was an Super performance- had me love re-watching it
Then there was Legacy a great B boy who started excelling at every style- and man did they use his skills. And he had a nice bod to (I know- Im bad)
Him and Kathryn, who was also great, put together great pieces like Two Steps Away, and So Deep. She did a great job and deserved to be at least runner up
BUT WHO SHOULD HAVE WON!!!!!!!!!!! No doubt Russell the "krumper" was good- it was later revealed that he was some plain Joe from the streets- but actually a trained dancer- so not fair to be deceived-
But we have the ONE AND ONLY- ELLENORE!
She is Mark and Kupono combined - OMG IMAGINE IF THEY ALL DID A DANCE with SONYAH- I would drop dead-
She was Personality, quirkiness, sensitivity, humor, technique, challenge, EVERYTHING
This was SOOOOOO her season- and to be put 4th- was a travesty. It was a crime- She was flawless in my opinion and maybe America wasn't ready for her unique style- The Angel dance, the table one with Legacy, The Robot one with Ryan, and the lovers re-meeting, Her almost disasterous tnago that she pulled off without a flinch. She was just the one to watch- the crowd loved her- UGH I loved her!
So I Hope So You think is better in it's coming year- it gave me high hope when they had 2 seasons back to back- but maybe they need more time (I loved it cause we discovered Ellenore- OMG watch her Vegas Week Audition-) and maybe next time they'll get it right yes?
